PROPERTY IN LONDON

my property is a house...in sydenham london...
Its a good buy and good investment during the UK financial crisis...my family is lucky enough to come across this house.....
ACTUALLY...this house is my own effort...i found this house on my own...i told my parents..they were surprised because its not expensive....a bonus, a steal for anyone who has the money....so we bought it...

this house is a 3 storey house consists of 4 rooms originally..2 master bedroom, 1 kitchen converted bedroom and 1 clockroom(for clothes)...its a traditional style of a white(kuai lou) house...its is built in the 1970's...not long after world war 2....

my house consists of a garden too..its a very beautiful garden decorated by the precious owner..

this is the view from the entrance of the main door...as you can see... a staircase to the 2nd floor is already seen...the other path is to the kitchen converted bedroom(MY ROOM) and the garage

this is the view from the dining place to the kitchen...this is also the 2nd floor of the house...imaging a kitchen on the 2nd floor....

this is the third floor..where 3 rooms fit...as you can see the room to the right is a clockroom which is rented out...the room to the left is an average bedroom which my family stays

this is the master bedroom(TO THE LEFT) which the house must have...its also rented out...the one to the right is the bathroom...

there is 1 more room coming up which is the garage...im converting it to a bedroom..so there will be 5 rooms..but it will take time to renovate

BBQ PARTY AT BAYSWATER

I was in sainsburry buying bbq food stuff at 1pm in the afternoon...it was my first time bbqing in london...it was an encouraging moment after a lonely presence in my life....

I reached bayswater at 4:45pm...i was suppose to reach at 4pm..however due to the "malaysian timing"..haha..i was 45min late...guess what...the rest also havent start because they havent bought their ingredients...haha

We start bbqing at 5pm..we lay down the food and ingredients...it was a small BBQ PARTY..but its meaningful to all of us...especially to me

At 5:30pm...though i didnt expect..there were more people coming to the BBQ party..about 3 more people...this ones i do not know at all...

They were friend's friend...and this makes the BBQ party much more meaningful..it was a lucky one though...

We ate chicken, beef, burger, bacon, hotdog...as no matter of experience in BBQing...we burnt some of them...haha..

We spent BBQing for 3 hours..we chit chat and talk about malaysia's economy, how many friends are leaving from uk back to Malaysia...

It was a sunday...a special day for today(yesterday i was in a club with my friend romeish in oxford street,,we party all the way till 2:20am middle of the night,,i went back at 3am,,slept for 3hours)

I woke up at 6am..i was very sleepy indeed..but i must go for today's trip..i reached the tube(underground train) at 7am..waited for 15min and the rest turned up..we travelled all the way to south wimbledon as we had rented the cars in that place

We reached at 8:30am..however..it started to rain..just a small one,,heavier than drizzle..as i did not bring an umbrella..i drenched in the rain..lucky did the rest brought umbrella..(i remembered 2 umbrella for 5person..as i skip myself,,2person to 1 umbrella)..

The place where we rented the cars was 15 min walk from the tube station..by the time we reached to that place i was like soaking like a slippery fish..haha..but its ok..im tough..

We rented 2 cars..it was better than expected..a ford S-Max and a Renault Megane..a bless for me as i dont need drenched in the rain...but the rain stop when we finished the process of those 2 cars renting application..this took 45min..

Alas,,at 10am,,we set off to cardiff,,there were around 12people..5 in the renault and 7 in the ford..The journey to Cardiff was just beautiful..because you were in a car..you get to see the scenery along the way..the fields are especially green..very green..and yellow too sometimes due to spring as of now-flowers bloom..

We stopped halfway to get our breakfast..it was a rest place for travellers..i bought a loaf of bread..lol..its only enough for me..this time around i get to more people..there were the usual friends adlan,wendy,elizabeth,lowyin and the unusual friends like vans,ellis,(i forgot his name),.....

We reached cardiff at 12pm(i think)..it was a rural area,,but its definitely better than i expected..Cardiff-was famous for their castle,,there was this Cardiff castle..belong to an old king called Sir******...the entrance fee is 10 pound..a good bargain for students..because this time we took a premium fee..means includes a tour

The tour was led by a guy,,,he explains the castle's meaning and reasons about the rooms-how it was built and why..why the children of the kings are dressed like that..etc

The tour lasted 45 min..and then we are free to explore the rest of the mysterious castle..it was quite fun ans we all know the castle grounds was big,,very big,,and very majestic..we took alot of pictures..

later at 4pm we were hungry...and that concludes our visit of cardiff castle..we went to a pizza place just outside cardiff castle..hoho..buffet lunch cost 7pounds-eat all u can..

I ate 7 plates-5plates of pizza and 2 plates of salad..satisfying,,very satisfying indeed..we then wanted to visit more places...yes..we then visited the next castle in cardiff

This was an old castle,,very old,,older than cardiff castle..due to our late presence at 6pm..it was close..so we took pictures outside the castle...this castle however,,was smaller than i expected..

The ford gang of friends decided to go home after this 2nd castle..perhaps they did not eat enough in the buffet as they say they were cold..so this gang was the unusual gang..haha

Actually,,we also wanted to go home after this..but we spend longer time taking pictures at the old castle..and all of a sudden the 5 of us decided to go Bath

We set off from Cardiff to Bath..it was on the same way back to London..so we decided to drop by..Bath was a place not famous for castle,,,but for the roman bath..as we arrived late at 9:30pm at night...we also stay outseide the auditorium to take pictures

I did not expect Bath was just a small town,,it is however,,very small indeed,,but it was sufficient for a late night stroll at 10pm..haha..

At 11pm we decided to go home..it was said that from bath to london takes 1 hour..this is as we need to catch the tube before 12am...it closed its operation at 12am..

We were late..we reached at 12:05am..and the tube operator told us to take a bus..the car rented was returned as we reached at 12am in South wimbledon..actually among 5 of us..3 of us took the bus...it was me low yin and elizbeth..while wendy and adlan camp at a friend's house in South wimbledon(i think the friend stay there)..so they could give the car back the very next morning..and for the other car-well they retuned home at 9pm..so the car operator was still open..

PS:here i gracefully appreciated 2 friends who drove to and fro South Wimbledon and Cardiff and Bath-Wendy and Elizabeth

BRIGHTON TRIP

It was easter day for britain...as the locals celebrate their easter day with easter eggs,,we, the malaysian group, plan a trip to brighton(south of London),,

We were ready at 7:30am,,most of us arrived at the bus station already,,though 1 person was left out as she was not at the bus station,,it seems that later we found out she only wake up at 11am,,

The bus station was called Victoria Coach Station,,near the famous Victoria Tube Station,,at 8am,,we board the bus and off we go to Brighton,,

The bus journey took 2 hours,,it reached brighton at 10:10am,,at first,,i thought brighton was going to be an eye-opener place,,however,,it was a seaside town,,stone beach,,but its good enough,,because this is my first time in brighton,,

Brighton was only famous for the brighton pier,,a place for fun fair and casino,,we spent most of our time there,,some of us played the dangerous stuff like booster(a long rectangular machine with 2 ends,,at each end there are 4 sits,,so 8 sits total,,and it swing 360 degrees,,i hope my description is good),,haha

I went to play the casino,,a slot where 2pence penny was to be found,,put a 2p pence inside and see whether the machine push my 2pence to other 2 pence,,wait for other 2 pence to fall down,,thus earning some 2pence penny,,lol,,,i lost 1pound worth of 2pence playing that...

Later at the afternnon,,we went to eat the world famous Fish and Chips,,,it was located near brighton pier,,so we went there to have our first meal on that day,,there were 2 choices for their recommended dish,,either cod or haddock,,i called haddock,,it was tasty too,,,

Later we went back to the beach after the meal..it was drizzling..my friends and I were lazying around the stones,,oh yeah i forgot to add that along this beach,,there were many stalls selling some sea food like jelly eel,,the price of the jelly eel was very interesting,,because the more we visit the stallk,,it seems to get cheaper too,,haha,,some of us bought during the earlier stalls and then realised it was so much cheaper at the end,,,

Sharp 4:45pm,,we had to leave brighton and board the bus back to London,,That day was still fresh in my mind to this day i wrote this blog,,

CLUBBING FOR THE FIRST TIME IN UK

It was qin's birthday,,HAPPRY BIRTHDAY,,,a very lovely friend of mine in class i met,,she is from china,,and so,,she invited me to her birthday at new cross gate-near hong kong city restaurant,,she lives nearby there,,

I reached her place at 2pm,,the party suppose to start at 1:30pm,,however, it was a long story how i was late,,plus i set off from my place at 11;45pm,,

There were around 6-7people in the party,,most were girls,,only 2 of us are guys,,haha,,it was a girls birthday thats why,,,the food was great,,girls usually cook for this party,,it was alot of food,,haha,,i ate lots too,,

Well,,the birthday was great,,i get to know a new friend,,she was a poland girl,,her name was ewelina,,she was one of the very beautiful girl i met,,and she likes sweet food,,haha,,anyway,,she ate most of the cake,,,we celebrated till 5pm,,,and most of them went home,,only 3 of us decided to stay back to chat,,and then,,we decided to go to a club

I was excited,,my first time,,i couldnt believe today was my lucky day,,plus we are going to ABACUS( near Bank station),,a known place for decent clubbing,,,very well known in london,,

In the club,,it was noisy because the music was played to the loudest i ever heard,,and many people until it was crowded-mostly whites,,hope to see asians:(,,but it was a great place for dancing,,i had dance clips(only at facebook unfortunately),,haha,,cant disclosed publicly,,

Anyway,,we been there for like 2 hours,,from 8:40-10:15pm,,and it was an unforgettable moment,,i enjoyed lots,,,dancing and looking,,
ps: clubbing was normal in london,,although some might not think so,,,

BELLA ITALIA

Minee and i wen to bella italia in leicester square to have a dinner,,,

We went there because she had a 25%discount for this very french restaurant from her tube ticket,,haha,,

The food was very good,,we ordered spagetthi carbonara and a tomato and cheese pizza,,,and 2 wine(i forgot the name),,,but its a white wine,,the food was good,,we talk lots

However, later she ordered 2 more beer bottles(350ml),,this makes me surprise as she drinks that much,,:p,,(i also help to drink some anyway)

MALAYSIAN NITE IN IMPERIAL COLLEGE

28 FEB 2009 I had booked a ticket for 2-romeish and me,,,to the malaysian nite in imperial college,,

I set out from my place at 4:30pm,,,reached imperial at 7pm,,it was a long story,, Imperial college was out of my imagination,,,the campus was so huge,,3 times of sunway uni college,,,i was amazed We went into the hall at 7:15pm,,,and waited for 45min,,,the show begin at 8pm,,

To be frank,,i was not expecting many people,,however,,it turn out to be flooded with malaysian students from imperial college,,most of them were JPA scholarship holders,,,

Romeish and i didnt knew anyone,,,so we sat in a corner in front(6rows from the front-there are about 50 rows),,,we couldnt help but waited patiently for the show,,

The show was splendid spectacular,,i didnt expect malaysian students to be able to perform that well,,,it surprise me and the show was funny too,,,i laugh lots,,

Another friend's birthday,,,but this time,,,its a lucky guy birthday,,

Actually,,,i didnt know it was his birthday today,,yesterday chun howe told me that it was his birthday,,i was shocked

Anyway,,i make it in time to wish him happy birthday,,,and we celebrate this very happy moment in LA TASCA,,,a spanish restaurant,,,in baker street

By the time we settled on the table,,waiting for our food was another problem,,,little did i remember that we waited for 45min for each round of the buffet,,yes it was a buffet course,,but limited to 3 order per person per round/unlimited rounds,,,
good strategy for this place,,,each round took 45 min to come,,we ate like 3 rounds only le,,since there was 7 perople,,21 orders per round,,haha

VALENTINES DAY

As we all know,,today is lovers day,,couples gather to celebrate their love with their love one,,and i,,without a love one,,spend time with my friends,,,:)

We went to ikea in the morning,,,it was 10:15am,,we ate 93p breakfast set,,,super cheap,,

Later, we went to watch movie in Wood Green,,well,,i arrived late for the cinema because i had to go home at Manor House to put some stuff i bought at ikea,,,so me and howe didnt catch the movie-The secret of moonarch

Both of us walk along the streets to look around,,,its a little depressing for me to miss the movie,,but nvm,,its my mistake anyway,,

After the movie ended,,,all of us went to eat in chinatown-we decided to eat cake at some place(iforgot the name lol)

At 7pm,,we went to eat dinner at a malaysian restaurant in Trafalgar Square called JOM MAKAN,,
I'm surprise some of my friends left the restaurant suddenly,,,they didnt ask me to come along,,,

We were joined later by other group of friends to have dinner at JOM MAKAN,,

After eating dinner,,we went to eat ice cream at a shop,,after a while,,i received sms from my friends(who left from the restaurant) saying that the JOM MAKAN was owned by najib-deputy prime minister of msia,,,so they BOYCOTT the restaurant,,,(i also promised myself that i will never go to that DIRTY restaurant anymore)

The ice cream was a unique one,,it was home made,,and because of it,,,it was very delicious,,the shop was full of people eating ice cream,,also, the customer service was great(the manager of the shop hang my winter coat at a hook specially for winter coat)

THE GREENWICH MERIDIAN

As you all know,,the world's time is set based upon the greenwich meridian,,it is a line that cut across the middle of the world vertically and horizontally,,,AND THAT'S CALLED LONGITUDE(vertical) AND LATITUDE(horizontal)

We went to greenwich on 3rd february 2009-tuesday,,it was exciting
I didnt know what is greenwich meridian until i saw the LINE that cut across in the middle of the whole planetarium,,it was a surprise,,i am actually standing on that snow-covered, rusty steel line,,

Just outside the planetarium was a huge playground so huge its like a park,,,thats where me and the rest of us played snowball fight,,,you can see it in this pic

HOWE'S BIRTHDAY

It was an old friend's birthday,,,now i remembered,,it seems like only yesterday that he was in my place,,eating french fries,,chat,,and his usual fish-looking face that makes me think of the thin gold fish i used to keep at my house fishtank,,,

Howe was a friend since university days,,i met him in Malaysia 2006,,and in london 2009,,a very old friend indeed,,he was a kind guy that help me lots in London,,

Howe was a memory of all my old friends in Malaysia,,so i wont forget where i came from,,where i belong,,where i started,,sweet and bitter memory with my old friends,,and the fun we had all gone through,,

I remembered so well that every holiday we all plan to go somewhere,,all the places like Penang, Langkawi, Singapore,,

Back here,,we went to a place to have a birthday dinner with the birthday boy,,so we went to Well's street (Before this,,i thought it is in bethnal green-the same place for wendy's,,then they told me to go to Well's street), a few streets from bethnal green

The place was called Green Papaya,,and it was a vietnamese cuisine,,the food was good,,just the portion is too small,,and here is some pics to share

Yeah, there's the tripod i accidentally broke(you can see in the 2nd pic),,it was allen's,,i mend it with a super glue(not too sure how long it will last),,oh yeah,,i havent get howe a birthday present,,will give it to him once i come across something interesting,,:)

Today was a fine day for a uk law class,,it was as usual,,i almost slept in class and after class,,i wanted to go home

Wendy called me,,,and ask me whether want to accompany her to tower bridge to take photos with a japanese friend i met 2 days back,,,i agreed

Later, we went to chinatown to have dinner,,,guess what,,we went into a famous duck restaurant called FOUR SEASONS,,,today's meal costs 14 pounds

A SWEET ANGEL'S BIRTHDAY

Today, 4feb 2009, was my very good friend, Wendy birthday party
She was the first girl i met in London, the very friend that enables me to have so many friends around London

The beautiful world of mine was created after i met her, but i dissapoint her during her birthday party, its i have been late for 50 min to the birthday gathering at Bethnal Green, a restaurant called 老地方,, The story of this blunder makes me feel bad,,i apologize here,,(back in malaysia,,my old habbits strikes often,,makes my friends very sick about it,,haiz)

Back to the original story,,her birthday was in this old place where it had known for mouth watering food,,today's food was fantastic,,because i ate all the leftovers,,

We sang a birthday song,,gave her a birthday cake,,and she make a birthday wish

IT SEEM ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE FOR A SNOW TO FALL IN LONDON,,BUT,,ITS HAPPENING,,IT IS A MIRACLE

Today 2 feb 2009,,london was snowing heavily,,yesterday(scroll down to see),,it was snowing but just the usual,,not very thick,,measurement was 5in only,,it is just lucky because london hasnt been snowing heavily since last few years,,today's measurement was 20 inch,,it was thick goodness,,here is some pics i would like to share

LIFE IN UK FOR THE FIRST TIME

A unusual morning with full of anxiety,,i woke up at 6am in the morning,,a funny feeling in my stomach makes me awake all of a sudden,,

It was as usual as any morning,,i didnt care of my stomach,,,not when i had more important business to do,,yes,,it was today that i had never dream of,,it was a today that i never expected,,

8am-KLIA-my parents and i had reached the airport,,my stomach grumbles again,,,i went to the toilet,,,and i vomited,,Later,,we sat at KFC talking about do's and dont's, London,,the weather, London,,the accommodation, London,,

9:15am-i met my friends,,they were kah ming, min ee, kok wai and jack

10:30am-we check-in,,through customs and board the flight-747 aircraft carrier,,and there we go,,,LONDON,,HERE WE COME

11:30am-my stomach feels funny again,,,this is what i thought,,i suppose the food from yesterday night was rotten,,,but later i realised it is actually the nervousity of my body and that night,,,my chemical process in my body changes,,it seem to make me more adaptable when in London(i found out when i was in London the 2nd day)
Anyway,,i vomited in the plane------toilet

LONDON's time 4pm in the afternoon-which means 12 hour flight from KLIA

we touchdown in a very usual and formal way,,this is the first time i traveled so far
this is where it all begin,,,my right foot on a ground i knew i had to walk on this ground,,perhaps,,forever,,

LONDON was indeed different from MALAYSIA,,the culture,,temperature,,civilisation,,whatever you name it,,,only 1 thing remains,,is that we are all humans,,

LONDON is a metropolitan city,,too metropolitan qua,,you will find all nationalities in here,,some of it I BET IT IS YOUR FIRST TIME HEARING IT IF YOU HEARD IT,,thats why this is where you need to socialise,,to get to know friends-preferably asians,,,haha,,,be careful,,you might bump into someone highly dangerous

LONDON is a very well connected by the TUBE-an underground train,,,some TUBE had a 100 years history already,,i coudnt believe it when someone told me,,the tubes here varies according to the line,,,some travel from north to south only,,south to west only,,west to north only,,east to south only(you make the direction yourself-N S E W)

LONDON citizens are very civilised,,not like KL-you have acah and amah,,,London's population is highly educated, polite and manored people,,you may ask anyone on the street for directions,,,or anything except,,,CASH

LONDON is where it all started,,i took the tube to my temporary accomodation,,and when i reached there,,that hotel closed,,and kah ming and i was left stranded there,,guess what,,we had a friend there,,yay,,it was howe howe,,he brought to a Malaysian Hostel,,just for stranding malaysians like me,,,to stay
The Malaysian hostel,,too bad,,only allowed 2 days stay,,after that,,,GET LOST

2nd day-we(km and i) went to college to settle stuff,,there we met a girl called wendy,,it was the first malaysian i know,,that was living here,,she brought to a place called manor house(because my malaysian hostel expires tommorow morning),,
The landlady had a TEMPORARY vacant double room for me and km,,it was ok,,we agreed to stay for a week,,,//remember i said that im more adaptable,,it seems i dont feel homesick or very cold in London,,plus this 2 days journey to get a hostel did not make me feel very tired too-chemical process in my body changed thats why

3rd day-This was a morning i was hoping to get a permanent accommodation,,the landlady the told us there will be a single and double room available,,but then km wants to join the rest of our friends-jack and kw in BAYSWATER,,so let it be,,

4th day-The landlady mistaken,,the TEMPORARY room i and km staying was booked by a malaysian fellow who dont want to share with me(of course,,km had left to BAYSWATER,so no worry),,but me,,i had to camp over the landlady's house for 2 nights,,

7th day-THE TEMPORARY rooms expires,,so i move out to the double room available,,because the single room can ONLY be occupied end of January,,it will be for 2 weeks in this double room

FROM 8TH DAY to 21 DAY-it was busy weeks,,i went to SAINSBURRY(A DEPARTMENTAL STORE,LIKE TESCO) to do groceries,,IN UK,,there are 5 DEPARTMENTAL STORES-MOST EXPENSIVE IS WAITROSS,,FOLLOWED BY MORRISONS,,THEN SAINSBURRY,,,THEN ALDA,,THEN TESCO-THE CHEAPEST),,but sometimes i find sainsburry OWN BRAND is cheaper then TESCO,,you can compare their OWN BRAND,,which could be much cheaper then others,,eg sainsburry pasta, siansburry mee, sainsburry bread

LIKE ANY OTHER STUDENT IN MANOR HOUSE,,i get to know more malaysians living in this area,,we,,students overseas,,unite always,,here is a dinner a friend cook,,we went to her place to eat

CHINESE NEW YEAR TUAN YUAN FAN-we went to BAYSWATER to find km and gang to eat,,it was a potluck party

FURTHERMORE,,my friends and i went to the national art gallery,,this is a picture outside the art gallery*(inside the art gallery, cameras are strictly prohibited)

MOREOVER,,we went to CHINATOWN,,this is a restaurant we went to eat some chinese food,,price around 5 pound each dish,,

FEB 1 2009-i fetch my sister back to oxford city near LONDON at 1pm,,,we reached OXFORD at 4:30pm,,we ate dinner there,,,and then i went back to LONDON at 8pm,,,i reached LONDON at 9:30pm,,,GUESS WHAT,,it was snowing drastically,,here is a few pictures of my man make snow-man

21ST BIRTHDAY

7 nov 2008 was indeed my 21st birthday,,a number of occasions happened,,and im going to share my wonderful experience,,

Back last 3 weeks,,i celebrated my first birthday party in melacca's restaurant called LIM THIAN PUAN..(im not sure if you know about it)..that night my cousins and uncle came to celebrate with me,,,thus it was enjoyable overall(except the bill, which came out to be rm 400),,best dish was cod fish and roasted lemon duck,,

On the 6th of nov,,my best friend organise a gathering at summit,,i was all heated up,,we met up at 2pm,,then we go ate at some place called quai ling kao ,,as usual,,after i ate my portion,,i was still hungry,,haha however thats my first time to this funny place,,after that we went to drink chocolate tang yuan ,,my first time too lol haha
After this, we went to watch 007 LICENSE TO KILL MR BOND QUANTUM OF SOLACE,,the show was quite good(less then my expectations),,i was thinking that bond will surprise me with something,,he didnt,,,lol,,(my movie ticket was sponsored,,so no complain) haha

Today,7th nov,,my next batch of friends took me to sakae sushi to feast on a buffet,,something that is unexpexted,,im grateful,,very happy to have such friends,,we really ate alot,,overeating,,about 60 plates of sushi-5persons,12 plates per person,,my sushi buffet also sponsored-need to find a way to repay their kindness,,if not i feel guilty lol
Fulama,,haha,,moreover,,we drank whiskey,,im quite surprise my this batch of friends dont drink,,(they actually added plain water to my RED LABEL WHISKEY,,pity it becomes tasteless),,

If you are reading this blog now,,i here have to say thanks to all that celebrated my 21st birthday,,nothing more luckier to have you all as friends,,

HOLIDAY ON MERLION ISLAND

Hurray...exam just finish and my friends and i were planning for a trip to Singapore...this is our first time though...jacoon really...but its an exciting time to plan all about it

Our exam finishes on the 13th of june....we were in the college's foyer discussing about the trip..until we realised its too late to plan for it...haiz...however..we were craving for that trip so i thought i draw up the plan-

MISSION TO SINGAPORE: NOT PREPARED ,DO ANYTHING TO ACCOMPLISH ANTHING, BY TOUCHDOWN

Oh surely!!...the meaning of this was to go there and see what we can do...its seems a bad idea..its like doing everything on the spot...moreover the 4 days we have chosen to enjoy was actually a convention period for business purposes...guess what...all hotels were fully book..those who,like us,find it very hard to get a hotel...but thats the only 4 days which we can go.....

Anyway..this time around Singapore is giving great discount for Malaysians who visit their country, $1=rm1, very worth it ooooo

We leaved Puduraya at exactly 12pm on the 19th..it was a monday..took a konsortium bus..and depart to JOHOR BHARU..its was beautiful afternoon..beautiful weather..today's plan was actualy in staying at a friend's house in JB..hehe..his place rox..near to Jaya Jusco(approximately 5 min driving)..that day, we went to eat Jb famous KU KUA TANG-bittergourd soup...it was mouth watering..haha...and of course..we were also planning for the activities in Singapore....

On the 14th, at 8 in the morning, we were all ready to leave for Singapore...our friend's driver fetch us to the customs of Malaysia..we pass the Singapore customs..and we headed for the bus in Singapore..we reached ORCHARD ROAD at 12pm in the afternoon..so we went to look for a hotel..bad luck..no room for 6 of us..we were astonish of our situation..but there were no surprise for me as we had been forwarned of the convention period..so we started calling hotels throough brochure and fliers

At 3 pm..luck happens..a hotel by the name of tropical inn in chinatown is willing to accept us..Hah..damn lucky..so we rushed towards the hotel from orchard road..its took 30 min in a taxi(Taxis in Singapore were bound by the strict rules imposed on them,basic-$ 2.50 additional 1km-$0.50 ),unlike Malaysia,whom always slaughter price....

TROPICAL INN-wow..a hotel like no other..haha..only $90 a night for a room...so we book 2

rooms-3boys and 3 girls..it was illuminating .....

by nightfall, we were hungry and tired of all the hastle we gone through

you-know-what..in Chinatown street..they were famous for their the Maxwell

Food Court...so we went there to feast..haha...

The very next morning the boys were woken up by the girls..this time we were going to all the interesting places in Singapore....so we took the Cable Car and go tooooooooo-

SENTOSA ISLAND-the first place we went is the luge and skyride..it was awesome..luge

rocks..its like a go-kart racing but there's no fuel usage, electric-powered

..that is really a momentary thrill of experinced...skyride was seeing the

scenery on a higher angle..so we sat on a bench and it takes us high above

the ground...

-later we went to the Underwater world ..cool..touch the stinkrays..real

chill man..however many of my friends were afraid to touch it ..LOL..and

there is the lobsters and fishes from all over the world....best of all..it was

the Dugong-endangered species...we were shocked to see it oi...

-Dolphin world...this comes free when you purchase an underwaterworld

ticket...see the dolphin splash and play with the trainer..yay..

Later..we went looking for food and found a cafe near the dolphin place...the

food sux..haha..its true...afte that. we went walking around the island...it was

great...we actually wanted to ride on the bicycle for pleasure..but my best

friend did not want to..so we didnt ride...CRY

We went back to the hotel after spending 1 whole day in Sentosa island..it was almost late at night though..(8pm i guess)

We went to Clarke Quay later..it was a sudden decision...a place of pubs and bistro..wah..damn hot the girls there hehehe..all adults coming out to have fun after work..there we ate in Haagen dazz...it rox..we love it..(the ice cream was too cold and hard to bite)..haha..but it was nice overall..

Well..after a while..we then thought we should enjoy ourselves too...so we went to drink

IN THE PUB-we went drinking and we were approached by a young lady in her mid 30s...she offered us a gin(a kind of wine)..it cost $10...

We went back at 1 in the middle of the night..luckily none of us got drunk...we wwere all asleep by then haha...too tired liao....

The very next morning we were all also woken by the girls..honestly the boys cant get up...we were suppose to visit the ZOO...and so we did...

We paid for the entrance fees only...not including the tram service..as we want to enjoy the walking experienced in such a large zoo

We started walking and looking at all the interesting animlas in the zoo..kangaroos, hippopotamus..ostrich..monkeys..sea otter...et cetera

Upon these visits, i would like to share some live experienced with some of the animals with you

Interesting facts-when hippopotamus yawn..they are actually showing affections..

-the red baboons(monkeys) having sex in front of the us looking-they really

arent shy yeah

-coming across the monkey by the name SAKI-MONKEY

-the fish Arowana can grow to the size of 4 human beings

-Crocodile reared by Steve Arwin -by the name False Gharial

-The most poisonous land snake by the name taipan

Moral of the lesson-yawning is actually showing affection

-dont have sex in front of people

Moreover, there are some shows presented to the customers of the zoo..which is The Elephant show-featuring the Asia elephants...we watched the elephants carryinglogs with their strong trunk and breaking coconut shells with their feet...remarkable arent it

Later,we went to see the zoo's most precious animals they ever had, these animals cn only be found in the south or north pole...lets welcome the Polar Bear ....

At long last, the final day has come...we woke up late..even when the girls had already poke us up...and this is the worst thing of all...we miss the bus at 12pm..we were just late for 5 min and the bus just left without us....so we had to drag our luggage from Singapore to JB bus station ........there we took a bus directly from JB to KL puduraya...the girls arent happy with us...of course...but ....oh well

HOWEVER, WE ENJOYED THE TRIP THOROUGHLY...REJOICE AND HAVE FUN READING THIS STORY..THANK YOU

ACCA SOCIAL GATHERING NIGHT 2007

WELCOME BACK....welcome to the Sunway College Acca Social Gathering Night 2007 on 31 may...

Its tonight that we wanted the moment to last..to hope..to stay...FOREVER YOUNG

Here are the events that i will be commentating on this post..together with the specific moments with my friends

That night..at 7:30pm sharp..i reached my college and hurriedly walk into the MPH-Multi Purpose Hall ..i thought i was late because i was told to come at 7pm..however..the event was just about to start when i arrived..so no harm done..

My best friend was a committee member in the Acca club..(this Social gathering was organised by them)..thus, i found him lurking in a corner..and he was desperately looking for a camera..LOL

He found one...it was from a friend whom i didnt know...BLESS HIM..*however...

Event 1 Blast off with performance from the Acca Club...it was extraordinary..all of us are very entertained by it..heh.. :)....

Simultaneously i was sitting in front...quite dissapointed that many of our friends did not turn up for this gathering..so there was i with 3 friends only.. :(

Dinner was served right after the performance...compared to last year..this year was absolutely better..more varities and tastier..hah.. :{i know i ate a lot}:

Price giving ceremony for Acca Sports Day was held here..thus this became the very next event..(probably thats the most domain reason why i came)...my team had emerge champion for tug of warrrrr..grrr..hehe

As so on, there's games organized by the club for all of the audience..first game was TREASURE HUNT..we are suppose to collect 7 items..brush, blue shoes, underwear :( ,panties:) , brushcomb..[i cant remember liao]..LOL

But i know that my team was the last for this event.....

Later the next game was GIRL DRESSING..this was very yucky...as the team leader of each team(all boys) must be dressed up like a girl..yucks..i hate to see this..wearing high heels and putting make up..--imagine you are the one being dressed up--

At 10:30..photography time for everyone..we took photos..there were not many photos caused by the insufficient friends turning up...at least still have my buddies to take a photograph..

Thats the end of my story for this Social Gathering...its really been a pleasure for those who had made it on that night..thanks for all..

*Before i forget..i just went to my friend's house to see the pictures he snap..most of them was blurred(exept those posted on top)..they say it was my friend carelessness..in my opinion..its the lousy camera they got from nowhere

MEMORABLE AND MOMENTARY TRILL OF EXPERIENCE

It was on the 15 december 2006....my friends and i went for penang and langkawi trip

15 dec 2006-we arrive at the puduraya station..we agreed to meet up there..oh..the number of people were satisfying..9 friends..hehe..and so we took the konsortiom bus to penang..
We arrive at penang at about 4pm..we stayed at Eden Fairways..hah..an affordable apartment equipped with basic needs..
Later, we ransacked the whole place and unbelievevably, the tv has astro channels...hahahaha..
like the girls..they need to watch those shows..
At night, we went to Long Beach Resort..we ate there and we shop there..i got a pair of nike shoes(hehe)..chee chiong kai nike shoes

16 dec 2006-we went to KOMTAR..the place was undeniably horrible...old and rundown..i wondered why the penang folks just love it there..however, the things was cheap..i bought a body glove shirt at RM 19.90..FUH..cheap sia...haha
We also went to Gurney Drive..the only place for food..it was at reasonale price..and the food was mouth-watering...
Yeah..we also went to the Kek Lok Si Temple..wahh the kun yam statue was very high..AMITABHHA..i know i was very holy..feng shui was very good that day..

17 dec 2006-The time has come to say goodbye to Penang and say hello to Langkawi..we depart for langkawi at 12pm..reached there at 3pm..hah..so nice lah..i didnt expect my friend to book a 4-star ranking hotel...we stayed at Langkasuka Resort..it was fantastic..just beside the beach..thus we went to play in the pool...ONLY 3 boys in the pool..sia..hehe..ever wondered why?

18 dec 2006-AHA..we rented a van..it can fit 12 people inside...oh yeah..3 more friends added into the fun..so we went to the FIVE activities-eagle feeding, crocodile farm, bat cave, (forget adi)..haha..
And here the real thrilling experience comes..we were going back to the small jeti..and the boat was a small one(nelayan boat)..the boatman decided to use the SEA ROUTE..it was crazy..and in the evening..the sea water level rise..and the WAVES were ROUGH..a small boat accelerating towards the sea..OUCH..we were all drenched with sea water as the boat hit the waves...it was very salty..not just that.. there were sometimes unmistakebly the boat was almost overturn..i am scared..though some still can laugh with happiness...
PHEW..we reached the jeti safely..(or i wont be here telling the tales..CHOI)..
Dinner for the yesterday and today was great..we ate at a seafood restaurant..hah..super syok and i know i ate a lot..

That night, we went for star gazzing..i saw shooting stars..haha..make a wish..and your wish come true..haha

19 dec 2006-time to say goodbye to our enjoyable trip..we departed to puduraya station..we took the 4pm bus..and reached at 12am midnight..wahh..such an enjoyable trip..thank you to all my friends that organize the trip...hehe..

ONCE IN A BLUE MOON

that 7 November 2006, and that is the first time i wrote on the blog..bloggging my birthday..and my birthday party

what a surprise on the 5 November 2006, i though of celebrating with my friends in sunway pyramid, but firstly i approach my parents to suggest to held a small party, they agreed.

Food were prepared accordingly..so we called the caterer..curry chicken, zha yuk(pork),fried prawns, and the kuih muih plus karipap..

My friends arrived early ..they came at 5pm..its great..the event starts at 7pm..so my friends settle into the mahjong table, and we hoi pai..

It was a pleasure and my lucky day to have everyone present at my birthday party..15 people..all friends..and there was wui li... me...roaming around the house

Yeah..we also celebrated someone's birthday as well

Her birthday falls on the 9 November..so my friends thought we celebrate together in the house too..Lily was excited to hear that she was having her birthday in here..

my family joined my friends in this very special day of mine...we sang the birthday song and eat the cake

Guess what...my friends bought me a shirt and a spectacle rabbit...it looks like me though( a little nerdish)..the rabbit..hehe
